SSC live photo vs upload
SSC CGL and related forms change by cycle. Read your notification — many steps now use live capture instead of a gallery upload.
Live capture on the portal
Many recent SSC application flows open the device camera during registration. That image is not the same as picking a file from your gallery. ExamPhoto cannot substitute for that step.
Uploaded JPEG when allowed
When a notice still allows an upload, prepare a colour photo on a plain light background with the face centred. Use the SSC photo resizer to hit common 10–200 KB targets, then verify the portal’s exact wording.
Signature is separate
SSC signatures are usually a scanned or photographed strip — see the SSC signature tool if your form lists KB limits.
