UPSSSC PET photo, 50–100 KB

UPSSSC asks for a recent colour photo in JPG/JPEG between 50 and 100 KB. Use a light background with the face clearly visible.

The minimum is 50 KB, so a heavily compressed 20 KB photo made for another exam is rejected. This tool keeps enough detail to reach the minimum.

What usually goes wrong

A file under 50 KB, a cap or dark glasses, or an old photo are the common misses.

What this page checks

JPEG, 413×531 pixels, 50–100 KB. Confirm the current UPSSSC PET advertisement.

Official requirements and this tool

Requirements can change by exam, post and application cycle. Check the linked official notice for the form you are submitting. This tool checks the exported image dimensions and file size; it cannot guarantee acceptance by an application portal.

Official source: UPSSSC advertisements. Source page checked 1 November 2026.

Where a source gives centimetres instead of pixels, the tool uses a working conversion. Confirm the values on the upload screen before submitting.

How to prepare the file

  1. Check the current official instructions for your exam or application.
  2. Choose the correct image and adjust the crop so the document fills the guide.
  3. Make the JPEG, then check the downloaded file’s dimensions and file size before uploading it.

This tool can check the exported JPEG dimensions and byte size. It cannot confirm identity, image recency, face position, background rules, handwriting, or acceptance by the exam portal.
