NEET finger and thumb impression

NEET UG asks for one image with the impressions of all ten fingers. Put the four fingers of the left hand, the four fingers of the right hand and both thumbs on one white sheet, label them, and photograph the sheet flat.

This is separate from the photo and signature uploads. The 2026 bulletin printed two different KB ranges in different sections, so this tool aims for 50–200 KB, which satisfies both.

What usually goes wrong

Faint ink, smudged prints, missing fingers or a sheet photographed at an angle are the usual problems.

What this page checks

JPEG, 800×600 pixels, 50–200 KB. Check the size printed in the NEET UG bulletin for your year.

Official requirements and this tool

Requirements can change by exam, post and application cycle. Check the linked official notice for the form you are submitting. This tool checks the exported image dimensions and file size; it cannot guarantee acceptance by an application portal.

Official source: NEET UG information bulletins. Source page checked 1 November 2026.

Where a source gives centimetres instead of pixels, the tool uses a working conversion. Confirm the values on the upload screen before submitting.

How to prepare the file

  1. Check the current official instructions for your exam or application.
  2. Choose the correct image and adjust the crop so the document fills the guide.
  3. Make the JPEG, then check the downloaded file’s dimensions and file size before uploading it.

This tool can check the exported JPEG dimensions and byte size. It cannot confirm identity, image recency, face position, background rules, handwriting, or acceptance by the exam portal.
