2×2 inch photo size
A 2×2 inch photo is a square format used by some visa and international applications. At 300 DPI it is 600×600 pixels, which this tool uses as the starting size.
Visa rules on head size, background and file size differ by country. Read the official photo requirements for the application you are making.
What usually goes wrong
Do not use this page for the Indian passport (630×810 px) or NTA forms (3.5×4.5 cm); those have their own tools.
What this page checks
Exports a 600×600 px square by default with a KB range you can change. It does not check head size or replace backgrounds.
How to prepare the file
- Check the current official instructions for your exam or application.
- Choose the correct image and adjust the crop so the document fills the guide.
- Make the JPEG, then check the downloaded file’s dimensions and file size before uploading it.
This tool can check the exported JPEG dimensions and byte size. It cannot confirm identity, image recency, face position, background rules, handwriting, or acceptance by the exam portal.
