Resize photo to 50 KB
Reduce a photo to a JPEG between 20 and 50 KB. The tool starts at 413×531 pixels, the working size for a 3.5×4.5 cm passport-style photo; change it if your form prints another size.
Many forms set a minimum as well as a maximum. Aim inside the range, not at the edge, so the portal accepts the file the first time.
What usually goes wrong
A face that is too small in the frame, or a busy background, can fail review even when the KB size is right.
What this page checks
You set the output width, height and KB range. The tool crops to that ratio, adjusts JPEG quality to fit the range and removes location metadata.
How to prepare the file
- Check the current official instructions for your exam or application.
- Choose the correct image and adjust the crop so the document fills the guide.
- Make the JPEG, then check the downloaded file’s dimensions and file size before uploading it.
This tool can check the exported JPEG dimensions and byte size. It cannot confirm identity, image recency, face position, background rules, handwriting, or acceptance by the exam portal.
