Photo

Recent colour photo on a light background, face clearly visible. Avoid caps and dark glasses. Keep a few printed copies of the same photo for the exam day and joining.

Signature

Running handwriting in black ink on white paper, not capital letters. Crop close to the ink so it fills the 140×60 strip. If the file is under 10 KB, zoom the crop. More tips in how to resize your signature.

Left thumb impression

Use a blue or black ink pad. Press your left thumb once on white paper without rolling it. The ridges should be visible and not smudged. Photograph it in daylight and centre it in the square crop.

Handwritten declaration

Write the declaration text from your notice in English, in your own handwriting, in black ink on white paper. A sample format looks like this:

I hereby declare that all the information furnished by me in the online application is true and correct. I will produce the supporting documents when required.

Use the exact wording printed in your notice, not this sample. Write it in clear running handwriting, not capital letters, then crop so the full text fills the wide frame.

Frequently asked questions

What is the size of the IBPS handwritten declaration?

ExamPhoto's IBPS and SBI declaration presets use 800×400 px and 50–100 KB. Confirm the numbers in your current notification.

Can I type the declaration instead of writing it?

No. Bank notices ask for the declaration in the candidate's own handwriting. Typed or someone else's handwriting can lead to cancellation.

Which thumb should I use for the thumb impression?

Bank notices usually ask for the left thumb impression. Check your notice, use a dark ink pad and press once without rolling.
