How to resize your signature for IBPS, SBI, SSC and NEET forms
Scan or photograph your signature and resize it to 10–20 KB, 140×60 px and other exam limits. Ink, paper and crop tips that stop signature rejections.
Paper, pen and light
Sign three or four times on plain white A4 paper with a black ball pen or gel pen. Pick the most natural one. Photograph it in daylight, phone held flat and parallel to the paper, so there is no shadow from your hand or the phone.
Crop to the ink
A signature is a wide strip, not a square. Use the exam's signature tool so the crop frame has the right shape, then zoom until the ink fills most of the box with a small margin. A tiny signature in a big white frame is the most common signature rejection.

UPSC is different
The UPSC signature slot expects three signatures one below another on a single image. Use the UPSC signature tool, which uses a tall frame for this.
Capital letters and initials
Bank exams such as IBPS and SBI do not accept signatures written in capital letters. Sign the way you will sign on the admit card and attendance sheet; a mismatch can cause problems at the exam hall.

Frequently asked questions
Why is my signature file under 10 KB?
The signature is too small inside the crop, so most of the image is plain white. Zoom in so the ink fills the strip and export again.
Can I sign on my phone screen instead of paper?
Most notices expect a signature on white paper with a pen. A finger-drawn signature often looks different from the one you sign at the exam hall.
Should I use blue or black ink?
Black is the safest choice for contrast. Some notices allow blue or dark blue. Follow the wording of your notice.
